執筆者の写真: kyoto tenamonyakyoto tenamonya

The predicted cherry blossom blooming date in Kyoto in 2025

is around March 27th.

Full bloom is thought to occur about a week later.

Tourists from overseas and all over Japan who come to our restaurant during cherry blossom season often say things like this:

"I didn't expect so many people to come, so I was honestly disappointed. Is there anywhere that isn't crowded where I can enjoy the cherry blossoms?"

Most places have some sort of advertising, so they are well-known and attract more people.

So, we'll tell you about places where fewer people know about and where you can enjoy cherry blossoms.

A relatively quiet SAKURA(cherry blossoms) spots in KYOTO

I've grouped two or three places in the same area together

to make it easier for you to get to.

★IWAKURA AREA

(Because it is located in the north, the peak bloom date is likely to be a little later.)

  1. JISSO-IN TEMPLE(Please take a bus)

The bus heading to Jisso-in Temple heads north along the Kamo River.

If you can get a seat on the left side of the bus, you can relax and enjoy the

long view of the cherry blossoms blooming along the river.

also a cable car so anyone can visit.

From the top of the mountain you can see the three rivers that flow through

Kyoto city joining together. The view is magnificent. Cherry trees are planted

along the riverside, so in spring when the scenery turns pink with cherry

blossoms, it is a spectacular sight
